Hailey got to dress up as a cowgirl today for school.  With her great fashion sense she is not very excited about the vest that I made her.  It is not cool enough for her.  But she will take it with her and maybe wear it.

We have now started soccer.  They are on the same team (lucky for me) and have two games a week.  They enjoy playing although neither one is very aggressive.  Vance is very competitive, he was substituted out and he said "If I'm not out there on defense, then we will get our buts kicked."  I laughed and he said " it's true."

For all that do not know, we now have two snakes.  They were caught in the backyard by my boys.  Yes, I about had a heart attack.  They now live in my garage, they stick to bad to allow them in the house.  My kids think they are really cool.

Soccer Game

We went to our first soccer game on Saturday night.  Sean was not feeling well so he stayed home with Natalia.  Grandpa and Heather came with us also.  It was eventful, they don't allow umbrellas and they have a bin that you put them in at the front gate.  When it started to rain we had no choice but to get wet.  Our seats seemed to be in the other team's section and their fans had drums and other noise making devices that they never stopped using the entire game.  Then at half time Grandpa took the boys out to walk around.  During that time Vance managed to get lost.  He was smart enough to remember where we were sitting and to get help from someone who worked there. When we went to leave and collect the umbrellas that they wouldn't let us bring in, Hailey's princess umbrella was missing.  All in all it was still a fun night.
